Lecturer in Maths

Full and part time opportunities available

We currently have opportunities for Maths Lecturers within different departments across the curriculum.  Within our Maths and English team, we have a vacancy of 28 hours delivering both GCSE and Functional Skills Maths, to support our students to achieve Maths qualifications as part of the programme of study. Many of the students attending will be retaking their GCSEs having not achieved the required grades previously, and therefore an enthusiastic Maths Tutor who can offer a variety of teaching methods is essential to this role.

Within our Engineering team we are looking for a Maths specialist to deliver 12 hours per week (17.5 working hours per week) of Level 3 Mathematics modules that sit within our Engineering programmes.

If your skill set would enable you to teach across both the areas described above, then there is the opportunity of a full time vacancy by combining to two.  Equally, we would welcome applications from candidates who may be interested in less that the hours above.  We have a number of staff who work for us on a part time basis, so please do get in touch to discuss your preferences.
